I was happily surprised to find that I really enjoyed reading this book and I a gained a better understanding of historical events than from what I learned when I was younger and in school. The author provided insight of American history from each president's point of view, but it was presented in a way that was very unbiased and nonpolitical. The writing style was very easy to follow and kept me interested throughout. Would recommend! I found this book a very enjoyable read. Although it did not cover all the presidents and how they handled the cold war but I think it does a very good job in covering the begininngs and the major criseis of the Cold War. I thought however that it should have covered more of the blunders like the U2 incident and Mayguez during President Ford's term.
